Cara is a labour relations expert and senior human resources consultant, providing investigations expertise and advice to employers in the municipal and postsecondary settings since 2015. She specializes in human rights and discrimination complaints and respectful workplace, harassment and bullying complaints, in unionized environments.

She enjoys conducting disciplinary investigations including serious misconduct, and Criminal Code violations such as sexual assault, assault, theft and fraud.

Cara is a deeply curious person with a nose for sniffing out the facts in an impartial and tactful manner. Trained in trauma-informed interviewing, she is compassionate and fair in her approach to interviews.

Clients receive succinct findings and credibility assessments in her investigation reports. She also provides recommendations for workplace repair and restoration.
